Itera is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the team working on Blaho — a digital platform developed in partnership with one of Ukraine’s leading businesses, aimed at supporting the recovery of Ukrainian communities. This is a meaningful project that combines Norwegian digital expertise with Ukrainian resilience and impact.

You will work in a cross-functional team with Ukrainian and Nordic colleagues, applying modern technologies to build a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that connects international donors with verified community projects across Ukraine.

We are looking for a proactive, open-minded engineer who is passionate about building impactful products and solving complex challenges with modern tools.

In this role you will

• Develop and maintain a modern web platform using React 19 / Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant UIs with Tailwind CSS and Zustand
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and authentication flows (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC)
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of the platform

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Solid experience with Node.js and NestJS (or Express.js)
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Sequelize (or similar ORM)
• Deep understanding of REST API design and implementation
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication flows
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and Zustand or similar state management
• Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG), performance, and security best practices
• Experience with Git
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to have:

• experience integrating payment systems (like Stripe, LiqPay, or similar) on both the frontend (for UI elements) and backend for processing payments
• experience of handling webhooks
• experience of ensuring security
